Genuine Weldcraft™ A-150 Valve, WP-17V-12-R TIG torch is a 150 amp, air-cooled torch that comes standard with a gas valve for easy shielding gas control while TIG welding with a machine that does not have a built-in gas solenoid. 

This TIG torch has a comfortable grip and better torch control in all positions. 

The ergonomic torch design ensures proper relationship between the TIG torch and weld joint, with maximum comfort and maneuverability. 

The A-150 Valve is an excellent general purpose, air cooled TIG welding torch.

Weldcraft A-150 Valve TIG Torch Package - 150 Amp Air-Cooled WP-17V will work on a Multimatic 215. You would also need Miller TIG Torch Power Adapter - Gas Through 25mm DINSE 273483

The Weldcraft A-150 Valve TIG Torch Package - 150 Amp Air-Cooled WP-17V can be installed on a XMT 304. 

To complete the installation you will need a Miller TIG Torch Power Adapter - Solid 50mm DINSE 195378 and a Weldcraft Inert Gas Hose Coupler 11N17

The Weldcraft A-150 Valve TIG Torch Package - 150 Amp Air-Cooled WP-17V will not work with a Miller Maxstar 140STR.

The correct replacement torch for this machine would be a Weldcraft WP-17V-25-2 . 

Your cost for the torch would be about $80 on eBay. 

You will also need a Miller Dinse (International) Weld Cable Connector - Male 25mm 127836 ($17.07) to complete the installation.

The connection on the power cable/hose on the Weldcraft A-150 Valve TIG Torch Package - 150 Amp Air-Cooled WP-17V is a male connection with 3/8 -24 thread

Miller advises that the Maxstar 150S cannot be used as a tig welder. The arc voltage for tig welding is generally around 10 to 15 volts. Since the Maxstar 150S is designed to stick weld only it has an arc voltage of 20 volts. If you try to tig weld with it the unit will sense the lower arc voltage and will shut down because it believes that there is an arc voltage problem.

You can install the Weldcraft A-150 Valve TIG Torch Package - 150 Amp Air-Cooled WP-17V on a Tweco 211i. You will need Miller Tig Torch adapter # 195387 plus a Weldcraft 11N17 hose coupler and a Smith Inert Gas Hose - 6' Single Black 7294-1. You will also need the optional Thermal Arc Foot Control 600285 if you want remote weld current control.
