The water-jacketed insulation maintains temperatures longer and recovers faster than other technology out there. The Thermo Scientific Forma Series II CO2 Incubator has many safeguards in place, such as triple wall construction, to guard against temperature drop in the event of a power outage, which can be useful in a lab where the power source isn’t completely reliable. Should you lose power, this laboratory co2 incubator will only drop 3°C (from 37°C to 36°C) in an hour and only 17°C in 10 hours, a marked improvement over air-jacketed incubators.
The Thermo 3110 Forma Series II CO2 Incubator has a proven HEPA air filtration to minimize the risk of airborne contaminants when opening and closing the chamber, giving you cleanroom-like class 100 air quality. The snap-fit HEPA filter of this laboratory incubator can be easily changed without the use of tools and reports to a messaging center when replacement is needed. Air is filtered continuously and the entire co2 incubator chamber is refreshed every 60 seconds maintaining an aseptic culture environment. The Thermo Scientific Forma 3110 CO2 Incubator is easy to clean with a polished stainless interior with coved corners, removable, autoclavable stainless steel shelves, and a removable inner door gasket. These shelves can be set within this spacious 6.5 cu ft capacity. The heated dual-pane inner glass door reduces condensation and aids in the fast recovery times and responsiveness.
