Description

Built with a stainless steel exterior, the Follett DEV1300SG-48-LP ice bin is designed for durability in high-demand environments. The poly liner helps regulate moisture, supporting ice clarity and sanitation. With a 1,320-pound storage capacity, this unit accommodates cube and Chewblet™ ice, ensuring a reliable supply for foodservice and beverage operations. The PowerHinge™ poly door system allows one-handed operation, and the stay-open hinge secures the door during extended use. The ABS/poly top is custom-cut for ice machine compatibility, while an 82-ounce plastic ice scoop, along with a paddle and rake set, is included for efficient ice retrieval.

For controlled dispensing, the Follett DEV1300SG-48-LP is equipped with the SmartGATE® ice shield, which regulates ice flow to minimize spills and limit contact with stored ice. The shield locks into three positions and automatically resets when the bin reaches capacity. A front chute dispensing system enables ice to be transferred through gravity flow, reducing the need for manual scooping. To streamline transport,  if a totes or a caddy ice carrier is used that can also minimizing direct hand contact. The unit stands on 10-inch flanged legs, providing stability in busy environments.
