 Rare professional model vintage Rek-O-Kut model G2 transcription turntable with 15 1/2'' diameter platter.  

Two speed unit, 33 1/3 and 78 RPM.  

Made for use in recording studios and radio stations, this is a real broadcast quality turntable.

Nothing is missing as can be seen in the pictures. 

The unit is complete and in Excellent original condition showing normal wear from age and use.  

It has been tested and works fine. 

LEGENDARY TURNTABLE TONEARM GRAY 106-SP TRANSCRIPTION

Rare and beautiful condition mono Tonearm. 

I have seen a few of these online in photos usually bad paint etc. this one really looks good enough to mount as is. 

Bearings are smooth. 

Wires intact. 

Original cartridge slide mount. 

All three leveling feet. 

Serial number 11348. 

Total length is 16 inches, needle to pivot is about 13 inches so a true transcription Tonearm from the mid to late 50's.

Due to age and not being able to actually test, no returns and no warranty sold as is and as parts to a turntable.

This is the VERY RARE CLASSIC LEGENDARY 16" GATES BROADCAST TURNTABLE mounted on a 15mm aluminium plinth and supported by a 190mm high steel riser. 

It is fitted with a TONEARM GRAY 106-SP TRANSCRIPTION and has an Accuphase Cartridge attached. 

This is renowned as a tank of a turntable and is getting super rare to find. 

Engineered at GATES RADIO COMPANY USA headquarters they were used in radio stations and other broadcasting services throughout the US and the world for many years and were known as being extremely accurate and well built. 

3 speed 33, 45 and 78rpm, 115 volts.
