Since this unit came from a university hospital with all Original Roche Ventana Accessories, Roche Ventana technical support will provide VENTANA's software for FREE at buyer's location if within the continental USA or Quebec, Brittish Columbia or Ontario in Canada. If you are located in Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico, or other Canadian locations please let us know so we can check with Roche Ventana about the best alternative for software installation. When you want to reinstall the software, just contact Ventana technical support staff at 1-800-227-2155 and explain that the CPU is the original one provided by Roche Ventana and that you would like help reinstalling the software.
Just tell them these units' Serial Number so they confirm this information: 711487 and 711508
Ventana's technical support confirmed that so long as you have the actual original CPU (hardware) that was provided by Ventana and went with the stainers when the university purchased these Ventanas.
Roche Ventana will definitely provide and install the software.
Ventana would and does not install the software when the CPU is not the original one purchased from Ventana, this is not the case with both these units since we have the university's letter proving that the CPU was purchased and provided by Roche Ventana and we have confirmed this with Roche Ventana's technical support as well, not to mention that the university also supports this process since that is why we received this system from them.
