Product Description
Five position magnetic stirrers provide precise, controlled, gentle stirring required for optimum cell growth. It accommodates five 1000 ml beakers. Soft Start/Soft Stop speed control permits a gradual change in speed of only 5.5 rpm to minimize cell trauma. Auxiliary receptacle at the rear of the stirrer allows you to operate four to six units using just one electrical outlet. The -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F) ambient operating temperature range provides optimum performance, either on bench top or in an incubator.
Stirring speed range: 1-100RPM ±3rpm.
Runs on 120V, 50/60Hz
All 5 positions rotate at the same speed.
Components are rated for temperatures from -20 to +60°C (-4 to +140°F); excellent for incubator work.

Note that items like this when new may come with a "stirrer" that often looks like a medicine capsule, which is designed in a way to not stick to the bottom of the container you place on the stirrer to be stirred. Without an item like this, no stirring will actually happen with whatever you might place on this device. We do not have any of these so they are not included, but items like that are not proprietary (one of us has seen them sold in "blister packs") and are we are sure readily available from a variety of sources.
