IEC Centra GP8-RF refrigerated floor centrifuge / very nice, GUARANTEED WORKING PERFECTLY!!!!
-with 4 well standard buckets rotor
-3-liter ventilated centrifuge and performs separations 50-100% faster
-The IEC Centra centrifuge provides the powerful, large-capacity 4 x 750mL centrifuge with refrigeration
-The panel features digital display of speed/g-force, run time, program number, rotor/radius setting, and temperature.
-Operates at speeds up to 4600 rpm (depending on rotor & load). Speed can be set from 500 to 4600 rpm in 10 or 100rpm increments. Or you can enter the required g-force and the unit will automatically calculate the appropriate speed for you.
-Run time can be set up to 5 minutes in 1-sec. increments and from 5 to 360 minutes in 1-min. increments.
-Temperatures can be set from -5 to +40C in 1C increments. Actual temperature is displayed digitally on the control panel. The unit uses a CFC-free refrigerant to rapidly cool rotor chamber from ambient to 4C within 5 to 7 minutes faster than ever before.
-An over/under temperature alert ensures that temperature remains within specified range.
-The Centra-GP8R offers five acceleration and braking rates (plus a coast position) which can be used to optimize runs: fast for rapid separation, gentle for delicate samples.
-A fail-safe cover interlock system prevents operation of the centrifuge while the cover is open and releases only at the completion of a run. Imbalance sensors terminate runs at low speed and signal operator to rebalance load.
-A variety of operator error messages and self-diagnostic codes are available to speed problem solving and minimize downtime. Rugged all-metal housing, cover, and containment ring system.
- Centra-GP8R also accept rotors from IEC Model Centra-7/7R and Centra-8/8R centrifuges. The Thermo IEC Centra-GP8 series are general purpose centrifuges designed for use in medical, industrial and scientific laboratories. The Centra-GP8 series can develop a maximum relative centrifugal force of 4630 times gravity using the 822A rotor. The centrifuges will accommodate a range of centrifuge tubes and devices including 750 mL bottles, microplates, cytological slide carriers, and microsample tubes. Maximum sample load is 3 Liters. The Thermo IEC Centra-GP8 has an ergonomic touch pad control panel with bright , easily read LED displays. The unit can be operated in manual mode, hold or one of the 35 programmable operations.
