Product Description FROM MANUFACTURER'S LITERATURE: The MicroMax is a microwell plate reader, capable of connecting to a SPEX Fluorolog spectrofluorometer. 

THE MICROMAX IS AN ACCESSORY TO BE USED WITH ONE OF THE SPECTROFLUOROMETERS LISTED BELOW. 

The MicroMax's high speed enables a 96 microwell plate to be scanned in less than one minute. 

Full control of the instrument is automated through the DataMax software, allowing for experimental design and visual display of the plate reader experiments. 

High sensitivity, excellent accuracy and high reproductivity enables the MicroMax 384 to collect more data, in less time, and with less effort.

Wavelength Range: full range of spectrofluorometer's: 250-850 nm (other wavelength ranges are available) 

Microplate Acceptance: 384-wells (24 X 16) and 96-well (12 x 8). 

Speed: scans 96 wells in less than 1 minute 

Typical Sensitivity: 

25 pM fluorescein with FluoroLog-322 

10 nM fluorescein with FluoroMax-3 

Fibre Optics: Bifurcated-slit-end bundles. 1 m length. Randomised distribution.
