The Cryogenics X-Stream AL60 generates conditioned nitrogen to cool crystals to a range of -180 degrees C to -4 degrees C as required in protein crystallography applications for systems like the Rigaku X-Ray Crystallography System.
Cools crystals by compressing and purifying room air to produce clean, dry nitrogen that it chills to nearly -196 degrees C before being rewarmed to operating temperatures
Nitrogen generator with a self-contained air compressor sends room air through a pressure swing absorption (PSA) cycle to extract pure nitrogen
Passes the pure nitrogen through a cold head, a vacuum-jacketed, flexible stainless steel tube and a nozzle assembly that regulates the final temperature and directs the gas to the awaiting crystal.

Because the φ-axis and the detector are actually one unit onoan-2θ-stage, the alignments for the φ - axis detector for height / tilt, and the detector angle must be accomplished at the same time when being installed. The height and tilt adjustments are made by turning the two feet at the back of the detector and the heighatdjustment nut in front but that is all explained in detail in the Operational Manual.
