This listing is for a Good condition RARE VINTAGE PICASSO TOREROS BOOK by JAIME SABERTES as can be seen WATCHED IN THE VIDEO and also seen in the pictures.
An original lithographic print after Picasso, from his Toros e Toreros series.
An iconic image, the silhouette of a mounted picador bullfighter, his lance created a strong diagonal line across the composition.
Dated top left in the print '5.4.59'. In the early part of that year, Picasso filled three sketchbooks with ink and wash drawings all with bullfight theme that were published as 'Toros e Toreros' in 1961.
This is print is in good original condition, note there is light age toning and speckling in the margins and two tiny tears at the frame edge of the left hand margin (see third and fourth photographs). Could be left as is or perhaps covered with a black mount. Presented in a black wood frame which is good vintage condition.
Measures 52 x 39.5cm including the frame.
Glazed and ready to hang.
