This listing is for a RARE SET OF 4 IDENTICAL VINTAGE Early 1960s TULLIP SWIVEL STOOLS which we believe are MCM Eero Knoll Saarinen BR 51 K as can be WATCHED IN THE VIDEO and also seen in the pictures.

Please feel free to watch a Video of one of these beautiful Stools swivelling Perfectly by clicking HERE!!! (all 4 stools swivel perfectly as this one)

We believe these four stools are the Knoll Saarinen BR 51 tulip stools even though the sticker fell off them due to age.

Yellow upholstered covering the cushion, and a beige white aluminum tulip style swivel base which work perfectly on all 4 stools.

A great addition to any modern living space and home. These stools were hidden behind a lot of old stuff at an old basement we went to clean up in Toledo-OH.

We think these stools should be at least 50 years old.

All 4 are in Very good Condition as can be seen in the pictures, no rips nor tears except a half inch scratch on one of the sides of the vinyl, barely noticeable since it didn't rip through the vinyl and so small but we thought worth mentioning.

Solid and Firm.

No Damage to the aluminum base frame.

Evidence of some wear does not diminish the appeal of these stools, actually adds to their intrinsic value!! Please see photos.

Please keep in mind that these are REAL Vintage pieces and have normal signs of wear.

This is what gives them their character and confirms their age.

Overall 4 Gorgeous Stools that you will love having in your home!!!

Being sold in “as is condition”.

Note: Please use photos as part of the description.

Perfect example of true Modern Design.

Amazing condition for their age and everything is completely intact as can be seen in the pictures.

IT'S IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION AS CAN BE SEEN IN THE PICTURES!!!

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY:

Saarinen began his career as a student at Yale University and after travels and studies in Europe returned to the U.S. and taught for a brief period at Cranbrook Institute in Michigan.

Cranbrook was founded by publisher George C. Booth and Eliel Saarinen in 1927 and Saarinen became Director in 1932.

Two of its graduates were Charles Eames and Florence Schust Knoll.

Saarinen and Eames collaborated on various projects, culminating in a range of furniture that won first prize at an exhibition held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1940 entitled, "Organic Design in Home Furnishings."

After 1946, however Eames went to work for Herman Miller; Saarinen became associated with Knoll Associates.

A number of Saarinen`s chairs for Knoll were to become landmarks in the history of 20th century design
