This lens alone is very hard to find and when found can easily sell for over US$ 1.000,00
Quite uncommon and rare nowadays unless you need to look through sapphire/gems substrates of the thickness stated on the objective.
This objective was designed specifically for working with a Bubble memory storage system.
Bubble memory systems were used on sapphire substrates and these objectives were designed to look through the substrate.
Memory domains were observable via the Kerr effect and required very strain-free optics.
Very large electro-magnet systems were situated in the stage area and the objectives had to be absolutely non-magnetic, hence the odd lens mounting.
The work done in the field was confined to the late 1970's after which that mode of memory storage was abandoned.
It is more a collectible than anything else.
