They are also suitable for rearing and housing Lepidoptera, Coleoptera and many other orders of insects.
Lightweight aluminum frame and 20 X 20 mesh aluminum screening reduce the possibility of mold and contamination. The escape-proof nylon feeding hammock enables exposure of animal for blood feeding without risk of mosquitoes escaping. Easy access inside the cage is provided by a knitted polyester stockinette sleeve. Sucrose solutions on cotton balls can be fed to mosquitoes through the hammock with sugar not coming in contact with metal parts.
Cages are hinged for easy collapsing and storage, and are disassembled quickly for cleaning. Efficient in operation, this excellent cages is 12" x 12" x 12" Inches.
