OPPO BLU-RAY DISC PLAYER BDP-93 PERFECT WORKING CONDITION NO RESERVE

First thoughts: This is a machine with subdued highlights on the front panel, clearly labeled inputs and outputs on the back panel, and an informative and useful display. Drop in a DVD-A disc, for instance, such as the one within the Lord Of The Rings complete soundtrack sets, and the front panel informs you that you're listening to a DVD-A. There's no confusion, as there can be with other components, as to whether you might be mistakenly listening to the standard stereo track and creating surround from that. The intuitive setup panels, accessed via the well designed and internally lit remote, quickly allow you to adjust your playback desires - you can listen to the multi-speaker output from the DVD-A or the mixed-down stereo version at the touch of a button.

The short answer is no. Now the long answer: In the past, Oppo players have been easy to make region free for DVD playback, by simply going into the setup menu. The BDP-83, the BDP-93 predecessor, had a ribbon cable/circuit board assembly available from a 3rd party that gave it region free playability on Blu-ray discs as well. Hopefully the 93 will have a similar option

`Worth' can be a matter of personal preference and options. Regarding picture quality, some see it, some don't. There are arguments and data supporting both sides. 
No, there is no hard drive, although you can easily add one via eSATA or USB. Regarding the zoom feature, it does have what I would refer to as "major zooming" which I use during pauses to get a close-up look at something - not just aspect ratio changes. Any form of zoom will stretch/enlarge an image in one way or another, that's the nature of zooming in. There is a dedicated Zoom button and a dedicated Resolution button on the remote. I agree, it would be nice to have a user photo of the Remote. 
You are correct, there is no instant replay (I have this with my DVR and like you find it extremely handy if I miss something). On the Oppo I just use the reverse button (reverse and forward are at speeds 1, 2, 3, and 4). There is no skip ahead but the Oppo does have a GOTO button. Press it and the movie time pops up. You then enter the time you wish to `go to' (forward or backward) and `Enter'. The GOTO is not nearly as quick as what I assume you are used to but RR 4 is fast and I find it just as easy as my instant replay on our DVR and far more accurate. The GOTO button is quite handy if you have to stop watching a movie and turn the player off. Simply hit the Display button, make note of the time, and next time you start the movie, GOTO that part immediately. Of course, it has several other uses. Regarding internet connectivity, I use the USB dongle - easy setup, always reliable.
As for `improvement feature-wise', many feel the extras to be improvements (you will have seen many listed in the manual, while others are not listed in the manual but are added as Updates and mentioned in reviews: 3D capable, Qdeo video processing, SACD, DVD Audio, AVCHD and ISO support, 2 USB ports and 1 eSATA, Ethernet port & USB wifi dongle, Album Art support for FLACs, the addition of FilmFresh and VUDU via later Updates). Oppo keeps giving us nice `gifts' with firmware updates. Frankly, I like the quality of the unit and remote and find that is `worth' quite a bit. If you don't want the `extras' and find other units to be just as satisfactory with some of the items mentioned above available, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with a less costly unit. Again, `worth' is primarily a matter of preference and requirements/options.
