This listing is for a Great Deal on a RARE LOT OF 450 VINTAGE 8.5" wide x 8.5"deep x 1"high & also 11.5" wide x 3" deep x 1" high INDUSTRIAL FLOOR TILES as can be seen in the pictures.
We cannot say with complete certainty what material these tiles are made of, even after consulting with several experienced builders. None of them had encountered anything quite like these tiles before. The consensus is that they may be composed of a petroleum-based mixture combined with wood chips—a truly unique and unusual material used at leasst 80 years ago when the Laaw School atrium where it came out of was built.

This lot was previously salvaged from a historic building of a Federal University and has been consistently well cared for as can be seen in the pictures.
Even though these tiles are heavy duty industrial and resistant as clearly shown in the photos, they are also actually really light.
Cosmetic Condition:
These are in salvage cosmetic condition and show normal as can be seen in the pictures. The tiles all look exactly like the top tier and that is why we’re selling it under an AS IS NO RETURN condition. These units are very rare to be found and sell for a pretty penny so it's a great deal at this price.
