You are bidding on a GREAT CONDITION VINTAGE JACK CARTWRIGHT 3 PIECE COPPER ORANGE FABRIC SOFA as can be seen in the pictures!
For consideration 3 Pairs of Jack Cartwright Mid-Century Modern Sofa Chairs. These sofa chairs are specifically the "Hampton" design with non adjusting feet. These sofas are beautifully upholstered with a light copper orange color fabric and are in very good condition. There is no damage to the fabric. The arm rests are also made of fabric and are also in very good condition.
The seat height is 13 inches high.
The seat depth is 22 inches deep.
The fabric is not 100% coarse, it is a confortable mix, I would say more like a mild tweed, but it is closer to wool than to cotton.
The seating is super firm, it does not sag down, it is like we described it, has been very well taken care of.

ALSO, IN CASE BUYER WISHES TO DO SO, THESE SETS CAN BE BROKEN DOWN INTO INDIVIDUAL CHAIRS AND THAT WAY YOU COULD HAVE 6 INDIVIDUAL 30 INCH WIDE UNITS. THE SETS ARE HOOKED TOGETHER SO THEY ARE NOT APART BUT CAN EASILY BE DISCONNECTED WITH A SCREWDRIVER.
Jack Cartwright is a graduate of the Kendall School of Design, Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is a recipient of many design awards in the US and Europe. With the desire to design contemporary seating, Jack Cartwright started his company in May, 1963. He and a production specialist were the only employees. This desire to design valid seating products was the driving force behind the company. Mr. Cartwright's philosophy was "to provide the market with upholstered furniture of modern design, produced with exceptionally high quality standards and priced within the reach of many." The company's headquarters and main facility are located in High Point, NC on 80 acres of old tobacco farmland in an environment conducive to creativity, design, and production. The company continues to design and market seating for use throughout the world.
