Features and Benefits

This system provides a method of introducing foreign proteins or nucleic acids into prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells with convenience, safety, and complete control. Chamber safe holds four electroporation chambers for sequential processing.

The Cell-Porator itself maintains the sample temperature during processing. 

The pulse control unit delivers a 400V pulse, which can be set for durations from <0.1 to >200 msec. 

An internal shunt resistor can be switched in or out for high- or low-salt cell suspensions.

System also includes a chamber rack and 36 disposable electroporation chambers with 4 mm gap (provides 1kV/cm for mammalian and plant cell transformations).

Compatibility

Use with optional voltage booster for high-field pulses, up to 16.6kV/cm.
