Unit is in very good condition as can be seen in the pictures. UNIT SHOWS ABSOLUTELY NO LEAKS!!! This COY AIRLOCK CABINET is a simple hermetically sealed container with a front-loading door, typically used for short-term experiments, dynamic oxygen-cycling studies, placement within standard incubators, or multi-level oxygen studies
This is to be used for Vacuum Atmospheres, industry standard Glove Box suitable for work requiring an oxygen free atmosphere.
How the airlock works:
Coy O2
This purge-only airlock is a transfer chamber that equilibrates O2
levels by purging excess O2 or N2 prior to opening the door into the actual glove box
and placing items inside.
General purge times based on standard-size glove boxes are provided by Coy for various O2 levels.
Automatic units use a specific preset time for purges based on protocol and desired glove box O2levels.
Once preset, the airlock is operated with the touch of a button by lab personnel.
With manual units, the user operates a valve and times the purge.
A sliding shelf accessory can be added to the airlock to simplify transfer of larger cages (Not included in this listing).
Unit has been in continuous use until March 2013.
