The Corning PC-353 Magnetic Stirrer with variable stirring speed from 80 to 1000 rpm. 

The base is epoxy coated aluminium and the ceramic top plate that measures 5" x 7" is highly resistant to scratches, chemicals and corrosion.

Tested and spins very nicely through all speeds quickly. The top is chip and crack free.
