Made with a wider and deeper seat for accommodating larger sized patients, the recliner and transporter chair has reinforced steel frame supports for durability. Swing-away arm open up to 180 degrees to make patient transfers and chair maintenance easy. A variety of customizable options, including Trendelenburg positioning, additional fold-away side tables, heat control is available on this manual recline model.
Champion 86 Series Bariatric Treatment Recliners come standard with one foldaway side table, 5 in. thermoplastic casters with front brakes & rear steering, a push handle for caregiver convenience and a self-storing footrest to prevent patients' feet from dangling during transport. The quick-release seat makes cleaning of the seat easy. Swing-away arms allow easy access to the interior of the chair for transfers and easy cleaning as part of infection control protocol.
Many different options are available for customizing Champion 86 Series Recliners, including heat and massage options, premium casters for easier use on carpets, and Trendelenburg positioning. Trendelenburg works in emergency situations to lay the back of the chair flat. This allows for increased blood flow to the head.
