This unit has been tested to power up fine, the propellers did turn fine so the motor is working fine, and the Stainless Steel Rollers did Freeze up Fast & Furiously as can be WATCHED IN THE VIDEO so we believe it is working fine but since we do not have nor know how to prepare the slush solution that is the extent of the testing we were able to do with it! We did add water and the water started to freeze on the rollers making the propellers difficult to turn because of the ice formation and then we found out it's because you can't just test it with water alone. You need the slush solution so it won't freeze up the propellers, the solution is used to make the slush which is the temperature just before freezing. We don't have that solution to test it. This unit was a donation to us from The University of Michigan which used it at one of their sorority dormitories but since it was deactivated they donated the unit to us.
The two top cover lids fit snuggly atop this unit but as explained in the video since we cannot find a plug to insert the back cables which are connected to the cover lids we believe they are not the original cover lids to this unit, nevertheless they do serve their purpose without any issues since they fit snuggly and do not allow any exterior material to enter the mix so they serve their purpose perfectly! These two cover lids were used with this unit at the university dorm where it came from without any problems, both cover lids protect the slush perfectly.

THIS UNIT CAME FROM A FEDERAL UNIVERSITY AND WE WERE TOLD IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN FULLY MAINTAINED AND SERVICED, THAT'S PROBABLY WHY IT FREEZES UP SO FAST AS CAN BE WATCHED IN THE VIDEO AND ALSO SEEN IN THE PICTURES!
