The Buchi B-490 Heating Bath can accommodate evaporating flasks ranging in size from 50 to 3000mL, with an overall holding capacity of 5L.
This heating bath can be adjusted from 20° to 180°C and has a temperature accuracy of + 1ºC, making it suitable for high/low boiling solvents.
The Buchi B-490’s aluminum heating pan features a corrosion-resistant PTFE coating and, for added safety, an insulated outer wall and two overtemperature shutoffs.
The waterbath features a digital LED display, which shows real-time temperature and setpoint. (The B-490 is for use with and included in evaporating systems R-200 and R-205.)
