A leather-bound antique Bible in German Gothic script. This book was published in the 1800's but we don't know the specific year.
This is a rare example in fair condition for its age.

This is an absolutely massive and stunning antique family Bible. Bound in leather and ornately embossed with gilt lettering.
Printed in German. Many illustrations (easily hundreds) throughout in color and black and white. Some very fine color lithography as well.
Approximately 13 inches by 10 inches by 4 inches thick and weighing over 10 lbs.
The cover is very worn with the front binding broken and the cover board loose along with the first several pages.
The greater majority of the pages are still bound.

COLOR: Originally black with gilded elements. Brown leather is visiblw where rubbing has occurred.
SIZE: 19cm x 13cm x 6cm
CONDITION: Good condition for its age. Binding is good from the first pages down to the bottom.
Cover is loose as can be seen in the pictures.
Rubbing to boards and gilding.
Inner pages are clean with very few markings.
One of the inner pages is ripped as shown in the picture.
