The steel is strong all around since this is the Heavy Gauge Steel, not today's Flimsies, this is the Real Deal: MADE IN THE GOOD OLD USA BY STEELCASE!
NO dings, NO dents, only normal scrapes in the finish as can be seen in the pictures.

DRAWERS OPEN EXTREMELY SMOOTHLY WITH THE HEAVY DUTY SIDE RAILINGS SHOWN IN THE PICTURES!
