Sorvall RC5B Floor Model Centrifuge
This centrifuge comes with built-in safety and environmental features, including SUVA® CFC-free refrigerants that provide equivalent and efficient cooling. Its analog control panel features speed and temperature indicators and selectors, time control, brake switch, run and over-temperature and imbalance lights as well as start and stop switches. Internally, this unit has a powerful 2.5 HP direct drive that employs the SORVALL® GyroAction self-centering drive system as a compensational system for uneven loads up to 50 grams. Its rotor has a maximum-rated RPM of 5000 and features four large swinging buckets and has a capacity to accept a wide range of rotors and adapters.
